This exciting job is based at an addictions service in a major Perth tertiary hospital. The service is the first integrated addiction service in Western Australia. It is run by both addiction psychiatrists and addiction medicine specialists. The service includes a gaming disorder clinic and a clinic in perinatal addiction. It also provides inpatient liaison and outpatient clinics with plans in place to expand it further.
You will be an Addictions Psychiatrist or an Addictions Medicine Specialist. Either way, you will be excited about the prospect of helping to shape and develop this groundbreaking Addiction Prevention and Treatment Service; providing comprehensive and evidence-based assessment, treatment and discharge planning advice. You will also provide clinical expertise and support the management of inpatients detoxing as well as providing leadership to the MDT.

*Remuneration package of up to $461k - depending on number of years of specialist experience.
*This includes a $30k professional development allowance which is paid upfront.
