The service has a rich profile of consultant psychiatrists (SIMGs) who completed their specialist training outside of Australia and Australian trained psychiatrists. Perth’s closer proximity to other parts of the world makes it a popular choice with SIMGs. The city is a cosmopolitan one with close to 2million inhabitants. Migration means it continues to grow significantly as the State's rich mineral resources have helped to ensure it is a prosperous and peaceful place to live and work, with an economy able to provide diverse career opportunities for non-medical partners. Perth has lovely beaches and a vibrant city centre. Public transport links are modern and extensive. There are first class independent schooling options in Perth. Spinner Medical Recruitment can provide detailed advice around your family’s education preferences.
