This newly formed health service is an amalgamation of existing healthcare organisations. It is a transformational project for this region of Victoria which is a 1hr and 20 min drive to Melbourne. The health service comprises a hospital with 221 acute beds, a sub acute care centre with 70 beds as well as psychiatric services.

You will be an innovative practitioner keen to assist in the organisational and clinical development of the Emergency Department/s with a focus on developing staff and on ED performance.
Selection criteria
- Fellowship Australasian College of Emergency Medicine (ACEM) OR equivalent training completed in either Ireland, UK, South Africa, NZ, Canada or the USA.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
- Evidence of leadership in a multidisciplinary emergency medicine setting.
- Commitment to the provision of the highest clinical standards.
- Experience and commitment in the application of quality improvement initiatives in emergency medicine.
- Ability and willingness to participate in internal teaching programs, to teach and guide undergrads, postgrads, doctors, nurses etc.
- Commitment to your own CME and advocating CME for colleagues.
The package on offer includes, base salary , private practice allowance, on-call allowance and additional regional city allowances of 15% and 13k, up to approx. $440k.
