Spinner Medical Recruitment is a small, specialist international medical recruitment team. Founded in 2021, we recruit senior medical specialists and healthcare executives for hospitals and mental health services across Australia — and Australian medical recruitment is all we do.
We work with a small number of specialists at a time, by design. When you register with us, you deal directly with the person named on this page — not a large corporate , and not a rotating cast of different recruiters and personalities.

Our team
Alasdair Spinner - Director. Alasdair founded Spinner Medical Recruitment in 2021, specialising in placing consultant-level medical specialists into Australian hospitals and mental health services. His focus is on understanding both a specialist's goals and a hospital's or mental health service's requirements, making the process between the two as smooth as possible.
Ellen Spinner - Director and Registrations Coordinator. Ellen leads registrations coordination, guiding specialists through medical college assessment, Ahpra registration, and visa processing. Her focus is taking as much of the administrative burden off candidates as possible, so they can concentrate on the move itself rather than the paperwork behind it.
Archie Spinner - Recruitment Consultant. Archie is the newest member of the Spinner Medical team, supporting candidate sourcing and outreach across our specialist recruitment campaigns.
