Strategic Vision: Drive strategic planning and clinical governance initiatives that set new standards for orthopaedic excellence. Educational Excellence: Mentor and develop junior doctors, registrars, and medical students, building tomorrow's orthopaedic leaders. Quality and Safety: Champion innovative quality improvement programs and lead comprehensive clinical audits and risk management. Collaborative Leadership: Foster cross-departmental partnerships and ensure seamless, effective on-call services. Essential Criteria

 

Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS)  Orthopaedic Surgery, current AHPRA specialist registration, demonstrated excellence in clinical practice and patient care, and proven commitment to medical education and training.

Other criteria is Leadership Qualities. Here , the service is looking for values which include advanced clinical leadership capabilities with emotional intelligence, strong interpersonal skills and collaborative approach, commitment to ethical practice and professional integrity, experience or passion for rural/regional healthcare delivery, and understanding of clinical governance frameworks.
