They are public health service which manages the Pilbara region in Western Australia. The Pilbara covers 510k sq km with most of its population based in Port Hedland where this senior position is based. A busy domestic airport has regular flights to Perth.

Essential selection criteria
- FRANZCP or equivalent gained in either NZ, Ireland, UK, USA, Canada or South Africa.
- Experience or understanding of rural healthcare issues.
- Well-developed strategic management, administrative and analytical skills.
- Ability to provide under and post-grad teaching and supervision.
- Experience in implementing, monitoring and evaluating clinical governance systems.
- Desirable selection criteria
- Post grad quals in health service management.
- Experience in the provision of mental health services to indigenous people and/or working in rural
- or remote environments.
- Experience in CAMHS.
