Job highlights:

 

You will lead a contemporary Australian mental health service. Key job scope will include:

  • Providing leadership which includes

e.g. assisting ops director to shape strategy and taking responsibility for the performance of the division. 

  • Developing a culture where research and professional development are at the forefront.
  • Take responsibility for clinical governance - chair key clinical governance meetings, ID opportunities for innovation and improved service delivery, engage in change management and so on.
  • Clinical Care - develop and implement process to optimise service efficiencies, liaise and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders and so on.
  • Management - ensure provisions of Mental Health Act are met, chair assessment committees etc., diagnose and address complex issues; ensure accurate reporting etc. 
  • Supervision, Education and Training - foster a positive environment of learning and participate in education programs.

 

 

 

 

 

Selection criteria

 

  • FRANZCP or training completed in either UK, Ireland, USA, Canada, NZ.
  • Similar leadership experience in public mental health services. 
  • High levels of communication and collaboration.
