Remuneration breakdown
- Package up to $620k. Includes:
- Base salary.
- Private practice allowance.
- Clinical director allowance.
- $23k professional development allowance.
- Up to $28k car allowance.
- 12.75% superannuation.
- $620k excludes oncall and other allowances.
Clinical setting and environment
- Lead a team of 5 radiologists and 4 FTE consultants.
- Mentor advanced specialty trainees and 2 unaccredited registrars.
- Services include General Radiography, CT, Ultrasound, and MRI.
- Also covers Fluoroscopy, Intervention, and Cardiac Catheter Lab.
- Oversee remote rural reporting for Proserpine and Bowen.
- Participate in the Unit roster to ensure regional service capability.

Job scope inlcudes but is not limited to
- As a senior leader, participate in hospital health service strategy and organisation.
- Deliver expert clinical services.
- Foster and promote exceptional standards in the provision of clinical and public heath services.
- Participate and lead multidisciplinary team meetings, consultant team meetings and clinical governance.
- Help to shape, implement and participate in teaching and education projects.
- Help to drive clinical excellence by fostering a culture of research.
- Supervise and mentor junior medical staff and students.
Selection criteria includes but is not limited to
- FRANZCR or if SIMG, already assessed by RANZCR as partially comparable or substantially comparable.
- Demonstrated experience in most modalities in radiology.
- Experience in clinical supervision and teaching of junior medical staff, nursing staff and
- medical students
- Demonstrated understanding and experience in implementing the concepts of patient safety and quality.
- A collaborative and harmonious approach to leadership and working relationships.
