Hawkesbury Hospital is a busy, growing hospital with just over 130 beds and a well-used ED, supporting a rapidly expanding population.This anaesthetist role is a solid generalist role with full perioperative exposure. You’ll be working in a supportive team, closely with surgeons and the wider MDT, and involved in on-call, teaching, audit and governance. There are 3 full-time Staff Specialist Anaesthetist roles available.

Remuneration Highlights:

  • Package of up to $430k inclusive of on call which includes:
  • $39k Professional Development Allowance.

You will:

  • Hold FANZCA or have equivalent overseas qualifications, suitable to be Substantially Comparable.
  • Applicants already assessed by ANZCA will be highly regarded.
  • Applicants trained in Ireland or UK will be highly regarded.
  • Have first class communication skills at a clinical level with an ability to develop excellent working relationships with stakeholders at all levels. 
  • Have a willingness to take part in the on - call roster.
  •  Have a commitment to research and clinical governance.
  • Enjoy leadership and your role within a multidisciplinary team.
