We are assisting NSW Health search for a dedicated and experienced General Physician to join the collaborative and well-established team in Taree. This role is split between 0.5FTE General Medicine allowing you to provide services to inpatients on the admitting general wards, ICU, HDU and Emergency Department patients; and 0.5FTE in Cardiology.

Selection criteria
- FRACP or equivalent gained overseas with dual qualification in GIM and Cardiology.
- SIMG applicants assessed by RACP as substantially comparable will be highly regarded.
- Demonstrated ability to provide strategic and clinical leadership.
- Demonstrated ability to competently work as an expert consultant in General Medicine and Cardiology.
- Sound clinical judgement and decision-making skills .
- A commitment to continuing professional education and development.
- A willingness to teach others, including interns, junior medical officers and undergraduate medical students.
- High level verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work and liaise with junior and senior medical staff, and other health professionals.
- Proven ability to practice in a cross-cultural environment
