The hospital is continuing to develop as a centre of excellence for teaching, training and research, providing clinicians with excellent professional development opportunities. Significant recent infrastructure investment includes a new helipad, expanded Emergency Department, Critical Care Unit, refurbished theatres and wards, along with new medical and surgical assessment units and outpatient facilities.
The Geriatric Medicine service provides integrated care for older patients across inpatient, outpatient and community settings throughout the South West region. This includes step-down inpatient geriatric services, rehabilitation and restorative care, orthogeriatric services, outreach clinics and Rehabilitation in the Home (RITH) programs across Bunbury and Busselton Health Campus.
This role would suit a Consultant Geriatrician who enjoys varied clinical medicine, values multidisciplinary teamwork and is keen to contribute to teaching, service development and quality improvement within a supportive regional environment.

Selection Criteria
- FRACP (or equivalent), or eligible for RACP Accelerated Pathway and/or ESP (UK CCT).
- Experience in Geriatric Medicine including acute care, rehabilitation, outpatient and restorative care.
- Applicants already assessed by RACP will be highly regarded.
- Demonstrated commitment to teaching and supervision.
- Strong leadership, teamwork and communication skills.
- Commitment to continuous quality improvement and service development.
- Experience in orthogeriatric care or clinical research desirable.
