Adult Community Psychiatry.


  • Close to Gold Coast, Brisbane, Byron Bay etc.
  • Provide clinical leadership and specialist adult community mental health care services across Community Mental Health Services. They are located in Tweed Heads, Murwillumbah, Byron Bay, Ballina, Lismore and Grafton.
  • Reporting to the Clinical Director Mental Health Services you will participate in and lead a multidisciplinary team. You will undertake supervision, education and training of junior medical staff. 
  • Make the most of health information systems and review clinical documentation to improve care.
  • Communicate and collaborate with all relevant stakeholders to meet patient needs. 
  • Participate in clinical governance activities.

  • FRANZCP or equivalent gained in the UK, Ireland, USA, Canada or South Africa.
  • Experience in general adult community mental health.
  • Experience in clinical governance initiatives. 
  • Willingness to participate in internal teaching, education and research activities.
  • Willingness to participate in on-call roster.
