We are assisting a hospital in Perth recruit a consultant in emergency medicine FACEM for a permanent opportunity.

 

  • Consultant in Emergency Medicine.
  • Remuneration up to $477k plus on-call and penalty shift allowances etc.. 
  • Perth, Western Australia. 

 

 

 


In this ED you will lead the multidisciplinary team providing specialist emergency care and medical services to patients. You'll lead, organise and orientate, train, supervise and teach doctors in training other medical practitioners and other health workers. Working closely with the Director of Clinical Services and Consultant peers you’ll strive to achieve performance standards and targets. Monthly attendances average approximately 5800 a month.

Selection criteria 

 

  • FACEM (or close to completing).
  • Extensive knowledge, clinical experience and skills in Emergency Medicine including in associated diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
  • High level leadership, communication, collaborative and conflict resolution skills. 
  • Willingness to participate in internal teaching, education and research activities.
  • Maintain a high standard of professionalism and professional ethics.
  • An interest in the improvement of clinical governance systems.
