The service ranges from remote primary care to tertiary-level specialist psychiatry delivered at Townsville University Hospital—Northern Australia’s largest teaching hospital and a specialist referral centre for over 700,000 people.

Candidate Requirements
- Fellowship with RANZCP or eligibility for the ESP Specialist Pathway or RANZCP speiclaist assessment —contact us for guidance.
- Demonstrated expertise in rural and remote psychiatry and ability to work independently in such settings.
- Experience working within multidisciplinary teams and across service boundaries.
- Culturally competent care and cross-cultural communication skills.
- Track record of leadership, innovation, clinical governance, and teaching.
