- Clinical assessment and psychiatric treatment for adults
- Well-resourced multidisciplinary teamwork across the service
The service currently includes:
- Director of Clinical Services
- 7 FTE Consultant Psychiatrists
- 7 FTE Trainee Registrars & RMOs
- 2 interns
Selection criteria
- FRANZCP or equivalent specialist training completed in the UK after 2007 (UK training satisfies the new RANZCP accelerated pathway and expedited specialist pathway, subject to criteria and conditions).
- An interest or experience in providing psychiatric care in a regional or rural context.
- Significant experience in general adult psychiatric settings.
- Commitment to working within an MDT framework.
- Commitment to continuing professional development.
- Experience in telehealth/video conferencing and excellent IT skills.
- Willingness to undertake outreach activities.
