Maitland Hospital is a brand new world class facility. It replaced the existing hospital, and now provides a range of enhanced adult and paediatric services for the region. New facilities include emergency, maternity, palliative care and rehabilitation, chemotherapy and ambulatory care spaces.
In addition, the revitalised hospital boasts contemporary clinical support services including operating suites, a central sterile services department, pharmacy and pathology, as well as isolation rooms, plaster rooms and gyms to support both general and mental health services for patients.

Requirements
- FRANZCOG or SIMG applicants MUST already be assessed by RANZCOG as ‘substantially comparable’.
- Broad experience in obstetrics and gynaecology.
- Willingness to participate in internal teaching, education and research activities.
- Willingness to participate in the on-call roster.
