Sydney has a rich choice of independent schooling, with a large number of faith based or secular institutions. The Western Suburbs of Sydney are the most culturally diverse in Australia. The amenities are first class - waterways, parklands, national parks, olympic class public sporting facilities, major shopping centres, professional football stadiums, cricket ovals, league and union pitches, universities, top tier private schools and major hospitals. As the city has grown, wealth has moved towards these suburbs with major corporations and employers now following suit.
