The Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service is seeking passionate and skilled Senior Staff Specialists, Staff Specialists, or Senior Medical Officers to join our Obstetrics and Gynaecology department.

Job highlights

  • Provide first class clinical care in Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
  • Mentor and teach junior doctors and medical students.

Renumeration package highlights

  • Up to $576k from 2027 + on - call/overtime, a package which includes:
  • Motor Vehicle allowance $23-$28k depending on salary band - paid.
  • $22k professional development allowance - paid.
  • Very generous salary sacrifice arrangements
  • Employer paid tax free pension contributions - 12.75%
  • 3.6 weeks professional development leave. 

 


Essential Criteria

  • FRANZCOG qualification or equivalent, applicants already assessed as substantially comparable by RANZCOG will be highly regarded.
  • A commitment to patient safety and quality care.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Willingness to be on the on - call roster.
  • A passion for teaching and continuous professional development.
