A leading tertiary-aligned hospital is seeking a Consultant in Obstetrics and Gynaecology to join a high-performing team delivering first class women's health care in Queensland.
You’ll join a collegial team committed to education, research, and continuous service improvement. An active teaching program supports both junior doctors and critical care trainees. The unit collaborates closely with other specialties and is supported by tertiary networks, providing a rich environment for both learning and leadership.

Selection criteria:
- FRANZCOG or if an SIMG you have a "substantially comparable" assessment outcome from RANZCOG to apply.
- Recent, demonstrable generalist experience within Obs/Gyn.
- Commitment to providing first class care, centred and focussed around the woman and her family.
- Enthusiastic about joining a positive workforce culture which has the trust of the community.
- Advanced understanding and application of contemporary leadership principles to build, motivate, and sustain effective teams.
- High‑level problem‑solving skills, with the ability to identify issues and implement innovative, appropriate solutions.
- Well‑developed interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain constructive relationships with colleagues, patients, families, and other stakeholders in the health service.
- Sound knowledge of effective team dynamics and collaborative practice.
