An excellent opportunity is available for a Consultant in Emergency Medicine to join a progressive regional health service in Albury–Wodonga. Located on the border of Victoria and New South Wales, the region offers strong clinical exposure within a well-supported and collaborative environment.

Albury Wodonga Health is the principal regional health service for North East Victoria and the Southern Riverina, delivering comprehensive public healthcare services across a broad cross-border catchment. Operating across multiple campuses, the service provides a wide range of acute, sub-acute, mental health, aged care and community health programs, supporting a diverse and growing population. The Emergency Department manages approximately 44,000 presentations annually, reflecting the service’s significant role as a regional referral centre.

Remuneration package highlights
- Salary package of up to $430k
- On - call included in base salary amount.
- Personal development allowance of $30k

Selection criteria
- FACEM or equivalent , SIMG applicants already assessed by ACEM will be highly regarded.
- Excellent teamwork, collaborative and communication capabilities.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a multidisciplinary team, providing leadership, encouragement and inspiration.
- Demonstrated commitment to teaching, continuing education, and research.
- Ability to provide supervision to medical staff in the ED.
- Willingness and ability to undertake continuous quality improvement projects.
- An understanding of the importance of your job and the health service plays in the community.
- A commitment to ethical medical practice.
- Willingness to be on an on-call roster.
