This is your chance as a FACEM to join an ED in a beaut regional NSW city, with affordable housing, working on a really broad case mix and embracing exciting change , including with cutting edge, world class tech.
Bathurst Hospital is is seeking an Emergency Medicine Staff Specialist to join its progressive and motivated team committed to delivering first class care to the community. With over 26,000 annual presentations and a diverse clinical scope, this is an outstanding opportunity to deepen your emergency medicine expertise across this broad scope and help lead a department on the cusp of an exciting transformation.
The team is made up of Emergency Medicine Specialists, GP VMOs, nurses, physiotherapists, an ASET nurse and a nurse practitioner. The department is embracing innovation with new models of care and service processes that enhance both patient experience and clinical satisfaction. With the demographic and ED profiles you'll get a chance to manage a wide range of presentations, further broadening your clinical repertoire. Here, you'll also benefit from flexible work arrangements that promote work-life balance, a collaborative team culture, and strong digital links to more than 100 specialists across the district, available 24/7 through telehealth.
The department supports significant career development pathways: giving you opportunities to step into governance, clinical leadership, teaching, research and statewide project roles.
