WA Country Health Service (WACHS) delivers comprehensive healthcare across the Wheatbelt region through four main health campuses: Northam, Narrogin, Merredin and Moora. Together, these sites provide a broad range of services including emergency care, inpatient services, maternity, allied health, mental health, Aboriginal health programs and community health initiatives.
Northam serves as the largest regional hub with surgical, maternity and outpatient services, while Narrogin, Merredin and Moora deliver modern, community-focused care across general medicine, aged care, mental health and child health services. Collectively, the campuses play a critical role in supporting the health and wellbeing of rural communities across the Wheatbelt.
Remuneration package highlights
- A package up to $534k +on - call/ overtime, a package which includes:
- Personal Development allowance of $33k
- Employer paid tax free pension contributions 12%

Selection Criteria
- Must be registered as FRACP (Paeds).
- Lead and support the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based care to children and their families as part of the region’s Integrated Paediatric Service.
- Participate in an on-call and after-hours paediatrics roster.
- Liaise with clinical staff, heads of departments and other agencies on professional issues and patient management
- Have a class C driving license
