An opportunity is available for a Staff Specialist / Senior Staff Specialist in Pain Medicine to join Gold Coast Health, one of the largest public health services in Queensland.
Remuneration package highlights
- Total remuneration package of up to approximately $530k per year, depending on experience and classification.
- Motor Vehicle allowance $23-$28k depending on salary band - paid.

You will join a multidisciplinary pain management service, working with anaesthetists, physicians, psychologists and allied health to manage patients with complex acute and chronic pain conditions.
Your Role
- Provide specialist pain medicine consultations and patient management.
- Manage acute and chronic pain conditions within a multidisciplinary model.
- Work closely with medical, nursing and allied health teams.
- Support teaching and supervision of junior doctors.
- Contribute to service development and quality improvement.

Selection criteria
- Fellowship of the Faculty of Pain Medicine (FPMANZCA) or equivalent.
- AHPRA registration or eligibility.
- FPMANZCA and Drs assessed by the college will be highly regarded.
- Experience managing complex pain conditions
- Ability to work within a multidisciplinary clinical team
