Total remuneration package is highly competitive and commensurate with experience, including on-call and shift allowances.

Remuneration package highlights

  • Salary package of up to $430k
  • On - call included in base salary amount.

Selection criteria

  • FACEM or equivalent , SIMG applicants already assessed by ACEM will be highly regarded.  
  • Excellent teamwork, collaborative and communication capabilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a multidisciplinary team, providing leadership, encouragement and inspiration. 
  • Demonstrated commitment to teaching, continuing education, and research.
  • Ability to provide supervision to medical staff in the ED.
  • Willingness and ability to undertake continuous quality improvement projects.
  • An understanding of the importance of your job and the health service plays in the community. 
  • A commitment to ethical medical practice. 
  • Willingness to be on an on-call roster.
