Outstanding Package - Up to $530k+

 

Includes a Base Salary plus extensive additional benefits including special allowance up to 50% of base salary, $22,145 CPD allowance annually, $22,000-$28,408 car allowance per annum, up to 12.75% employer-paid superannuation, 17.5% annual leave loading, comprehensive salary packaging options, professional indemnity cover included, and employee benefit programs. Plus on-call, recall and other allowances.

What Makes This Role Special

This comprehensive mental health service is based in one of the most desirable places to live and work in Australia - the Sunshine Coast. It features GAP inpatent & community teams, Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU), acute care services, rehabilitation programs, and crisis and consultation teams, CAHMS, Old Age and Learning Disability.

 

You will provide first class Learning Disability Psychiatry care for our community, with a focus on leading safe care, driving quality improvement and innovation, and collaboratively contributing to department growth and development within a talented multidisciplinary team.

 

The Health Service is located across the Sunshine Coast region. It has 5 hospital campuses including Sunshine Coast University Hospital serving a population of approx. 500k people. 

 

Job scope includes:

 

  • Clinical care. 
  • Education, training and research. 
  • Multidisciplinary team collaboration and leadership.
  • Clinical Governance, Patient Safety and Quality Improvement Leadership

  • This role is perfect for FRANZCP qualified psychiatrists ready for a lifestyle move and Specialist International Medical Graduates (SIMG) eligible for ESP or RANZCP accelerated pathways, or SIMG LD psychiatrists who have received a substantially comparable outcome from RANZCP
  • First class communication skills. 
  • Psychiatrists passionate about their own and their colleagues' professional development.
