Specialist services include Emergency, General Medicine, Cardiology, Renal, Palliative Care, Psychiatry, Rehabilitation, Geriatrics, Paediatrics, Surgery, Orthopaedics, Urology, ENT, O&G, ICU, and Anaesthetics, alongside a state-of-the-art Cancer Care Unit.

 

 

Geriatric and Rehabilitation Services (GARS) operates from a purpose-built 16-bed interdisciplinary facility providing inpatient, ambulatory, and outreach care across the designated region.

Opportunity Highlights

  • Package up to $534k + on-call allowance (depending on years of experience).
  • 1st year $20,000 incentive allowance.

  • Annual Vehicle allowance up to $28k

 

You will

  • Hold Fellowship of the Australian Faculty of Rehabilitation Medicine (FAFRM) or equivalent gained in NZ, UK, Ireland, USA, or Canada.
  • Provide high-quality, evidence-based inpatient and ambulatory clinical care in rehabilitation medicine.
  • Provide expert opinion in ED when required and participate in patient flow and bed capacity management.
  • Provide clinical supervision for Registrars, PHOs, and House Officers, as well as teaching medical students.
  • Demonstrate first-class communication, conflict resolution, and multidisciplinary leadership skills.
  • Participate in research, continuous quality improvement, and college-mandated CPD.
