Geraldton Hospital is a modern regional facility in Western Australia’s Mid West region, around a one-hour flight from Perth. An opportunity is available for a Consultant/Specialist Intensivist to join a well-established and supportive multidisciplinary team, with scope to contribute to service development, clinical leadership and the ongoing growth of critical care services, while delivering high-quality care to the local community.
Remuneration package highlights
- Competitive Salary Package of up to $534k. (Up to $514k from September 2025, then $534k from September 2026).
- This is inclusive of 12% employer superannuation contributions and a generous professional development allowance.
- Salary Packaging: Access to salary packaging arrangements up to $19,000 p.a.
- Generous Leave Entitlements: 4 weeks annual leave, 3 weeks professional development leave, 10 days sick leave, plus other forms of leave for compassionate or cultural reasons.
- Professional Development allowance of $33k per annum - paid with your salary.
- Opportunity to supervise trainees, participate in quality improvement and research.

Selection Criteria
- Hold FCICM or equivalent.
- Have first class verbal and written communication skills.
- Have a personable and collaborative working style.
- Be experienced within MDT settings.
- Be experienced in clinical governance initiatives and quality improvement activities.
