Outstanding Package - Up to $530k+
Includes a Base Salary plus extensive additional benefits including special allowance up to 50% of base salary, $22,145 CPD allowance annually, $22,000-$28,408 car allowance per annum, up to 12.75% employer-paid superannuation, 17.5% annual leave loading, comprehensive salary packaging options, professional indemnity cover included, and employee benefit programs. What Makes This Role Special
This comprehensive mental health service is based in one of the most desirable places to live and work in Australia - the Sunshine Coast. It features GAP inpatent & community teams, Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU), acute care services, rehabilitation programs, and crisis and consultation teams, CAHMS, Old Age and Learning Disability.
You'll provide clinical care across inpatient psychiatry, with responsibilities spanning multidisciplinary team leadership, clinical governance, teaching and supervision of junior staff, and quality improvement. The department also offers scope for research and scholarly work alongside clinical duties.
The Health Service is located across the Sunshine Coast region. It has 5 hospital campuses including Sunshine Coast University Hospital serving a population of approx. 500k people.
Job scope includes:

Who We're Looking For
- This role is perfect for FRANZCP qualified psychiatrists ready for a lifestyle move and Specialist International Medical Graduates (SIMG) eligible for ESP or RANZCP accelerated pathways, or SIMG psychiatrists who have received a substantially comparable outcome from RANZCP
- Demonstrated high-level clinical expertise in psychiatry, with strong knowledge of contemporary inpatient care
- First class communication skills.
- Psychiatrists passionate about their own and their colleagues' professional development.
